Johnson & Starley announces 2014 training course topics

Recognised as one of the heating and ventilation industry’s best training providers, Johnson & Starley has announced 2014 dates for Training Programme for installers.

The courses cover warm air heating and ventilation technology. Warm air heating courses include a one day familiarisation session on the company’s new WarmCair Condensing range as well as a Heater Replacement/Upgrade course.

The confirmed dates are:

  • WarmCair Condensing Warm Air Heaters Product Training: 15 May and 26 June 2014.
  • Warm Air Service and Fault Finding: 1 May 2014.
  • Warm Air Installation Training: 12 June 2014.

For those involved in ventilation, the company’s BPEC course is now offered over two days and is designed to meet the requirements in the Domestic Ventilation Compliance Guide 2010. This covers the installation, inspection, testing, commissioning and provision of information for Fixed Domestic Systems, for both new and existing residential buildings. The course is recognised by all Competent Persons Schemes (CPS) within the industry, including the HVCA and the NICEIC. Johnson & Starley is also recognised by CIBSE as a CPD (Continuing Professional Development) course provider. All courses take place at the company’s Head Office Training Centre in Northampton.
