Halo puts Hallmark in the frame for continued success in its 20th year

2015 marks the 20th year in business for leading Humberside-based composite door manufacturer, Hallmark Panels. The company, which specialises in the manufacture of PVC-U and aluminium decorative infill panels, composite doors and architectural mouldings is a long-standing client of The VEKA UK Group, using renowned Halo profile systems for the outer-frame of its extensive and varied range of doors.

Hallmark Panels has manufactured infill panels for the window industry for more than 25 years and is one of the pioneers of composite door manufacturing with over 20 years’ experience. The company is considered to be at the forefront of design and innovation, leading the way in both modern and traditional product design offerings.

Group Marketing & Digital Manager, Gary Maddock-Greene comments:

“During my time at Hallmark, I have seen numerous innovative products developed and delivered to market. Our wide range of products – including GRP Architectural products, twin-rebated composite doors and bespoke panel manufacturing at our group company, Laminated Supplies – often takes new customers by surprise. By investing in 5 state-of-the-art CNC machines over the last 10 years we have been able to reduce internal manufacturing costs and time to market, enabling Hallmark to become more competitive without compromise on quality or service.”

Hallmark uses both traditionally sculptured and contemporary-looking bevelled profiles from the Halo portfolio, further maximising the potential for personalisation in its door designs.

Gary continues: “When deciding on a PVC-U profile manufacturer to work with, Halo’s dominant market position was a major contributing factor. As one of the UK’s leading composite door manufacturers, we needed an established, competent supplier that could demonstrate a commitment to continued product development and supply. Through the distinctive aesthetics of Halo’s Rustique and Eclipse 70mm profiles, we are able to cater to a wide and varied market.”

Colin Torley, Sales and Marketing Director for The VEKA UK Group adds:

“We’re proud that Halo profile plays such an important part in the winning blend of materials and techniques that Hallmark Panels has developed over the years.

“The company demonstrates a truly proactive approach to its work, constantly looking for ways to improve and streamline its manufacturing processes, minimise its environmental impact and pass the savings onto clients. Values like these align perfectly with what we do at The VEKA UK Group and we look forward to continuing our work together with Hallmark. Here’s to another 20 years’ success!”

Hallmark Group Products companies, Hallmark Panels, Laminated Supplies and Fortrace have now been joined by Toughened Glass Solutions Ltd., adding a fast and efficient supply of shaped, toughened glass services to the group and high quality sealed units to the trade.

The company’s recent purchase of a TRUMPF laser cutting machine coincides with the launch of new aluminium door and panel collections and, with an expanded range of 30-minute fire doors hitting the market, Hallmark is set to continue its impressive programme of product innovations throughout its 20th anniversary year.
