These new signings are testament to the continuing success of the time-honoured, established event.
With over 300 best of British and International furniture brands now confirmed, the show is set to be the largest event ever organised by directors of Furniture Fairs and industry experts Laraine Janes and Theresa Raymond.
“The new look show will run midweek from Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 and as a direct result of the overwhelming success that we’ve achieved so far, we have now signed a tenancy for the next three years. Due to popular demand and to ensure that we don’t clash with any other events, 2016 will run for three days from Sunday 24 – Tuesday 26 January.”
Exhibitor G Plan Upholstery’s, G Plan Vintage is a collection inspired by original pieces from its mid-century archive and created in collaboration with celebrated British design team, Hemingway Design – experts in vintage projects.
Said Mike Daly, sales and marketing director at G Plan Vintage:
“We will be attending The January Furniture Show next year, as it will provide an excellent opportunity to showcase the brand. We look forward to meeting new buyers as well as taking the opportunity to catch up with our existing G Plan Vintage stockists.”
Paul James from Origin Red Furniture added:
“We are very pleased that the team behind Manchester Furniture Show has been successful in obtaining the tenancy for The January Furniture Show. I have been exhibiting with Theresa and Larraine at Manchester Furniture Show for well over ten years.
“They have a great interest in The Furniture Industry and are not just hosts of an exhibition. Their marketing of Manchester Furniture Show is always very well structured and targeted, so there was no hesitation in supporting them for The January Furniture Show”
Laraine and Theresa concluded:
“This is promising to be more than just a trade show. It will launch the furniture industry into 2015 and visitors will be able to experience trends and innovations which will be key to business success over the next 12 months.
“The NEC is the busiest exhibition venue in Europe, staging 160 exhibitions every year and this will be the 25th consecutive furniture show to be held here in January.
