The developers of 100 West George Street, Whiteburn and London & Scottish Investments, spent in excess of £2.3m on the building to give it Grade A specification.
The refurbishment included the installation of all new M&E systems, featuring LED lighting and raised access flooring. A double height entrance was created, while the original ceilings were exposed to give more height and light. The entrance steps were also removed to be made fully DDA compliant.
Formerly home to RBS, 100 West George Street offers four floors of office space, each at around 5,000 sq. ft. JLL and Phil Reid Associates are acting on behalf of the joint developers.
The building has already secured Byron Hamburgers Ltd for its ground floor retail unit, marking its first restaurant in Glasgow. They began trading last month.

100 West George Street occupies a key location for office workers, and is in close proximity to both Glasgow Central and Queen Street train stations. The M8 motorway is a short distance away, while Buchanan Bus Station is a five minute walk.
It also benefits from a number of nearby restaurants, bars and shops. In addition to Byron, Wagamama is situated directly opposite, while the Buchanan Quarter is close by.
