A Nottingham based Floor Heating company has announced its knack for breeding award winning showjumpers and is preparing to send two members of its staff to the Senior British Showjumping Competition.
The event, taking place later this week, at Field House Equestrian Centre in Uttoxeter, will see the Director and the Office Manager of the company take to the saddle to compete for a hefty cash prize.
Andrew Dye, Director of Floor Heating Systems Ltd, who learnt to ride at the age many toddlers are learning to walk, has been competing for over 30 years and hopes to secure their usual place in the top six.
Adam Butcher, Office Manager, rekindled his love for Showjumping, after a stint in his teens, and has continued competing for the past 10 years, after meeting his wife.
Organised by British Showjumping, the event will join Senior British Novice contenders in a battle for cash prizes and a race to meet the requirements for future competitions.
Andrew Dye, said:
“I first learnt that Adam was involved in Showjumping when he came for an interview at the company. It was a very pleasant coincidence and we have shared many experiences together as a result.
“Working in such a high powered environment, it’s great to be able to invest our energy in another thing we both feel passionate about. We are aiming to qualify for the Scope Jumping Festival later this year.”
