Emsea Ltd, the complete ‘design through to manufacture’ experts, are pleased to announce an exciting collaboration with internationally acclaimed surface pattern and wallpaper designer, Kirath Ghundoo.
Still in development, the beautiful fusion of metal and art takes Kirath’s instantly recognisable use of geometric blocks of colour to a new level. The intricate 2m x 1m pattern is created using state of the art waterjet-cutting technology.
“We are excited about our collaboration with Emsea Ltd., working with laser and waterjet technology, our design is being utilised in an entirely new way,” commented Kirath Ghundoo, Director at Kirath Ghundoo Surface Pattern Design Studio.
She continued: “Neon and gold (featuring in this project) are set to be on trend throughout 2016 and will look stunning in both commercial and residential spaces.”
Emsea Ltd. has seen a dramatic growth in the demand for bespoke pieces by architects and designers within varied settings.
“Over the last few years we have seen a great increase in designers coming to us directly, requesting tailor-made pieces. These have included hotel screens, art-work, furniture, intricately decorated garden fences and designer kitchen components. It seems to us that the capabilities are endless!” said Mark Causer, Director at Emsea Ltd.
“Designers are becoming more involved in the manufacturing process of the items they specify. Emsea Ltd. ticks the box for them, offering a full design to production service here in the UK whilst still allowing the designers full creative control of their product.”
The design is set to be unveiled early in 2016.
