Ecobuild to host 2014 Climate Week Launch

Ecobuild and the organisers of Climate Week are delighted to announce that the official launch of this year’s Climate Week will be held on site at Ecobuild.

It seemed only fitting that Ecobuild (4–6 March, ExCeL London), the world’s largest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment, would once again work with Climate Week, Britain’s biggest climate change campaign.

Climate Week 2014 will run from the 3rd to the 9th of March with the official launch taking place at in The North Arena at Ecobuild on Tuesday 4th at 1.30pm.

The campaign is endorsed by politicians and celebrities including the Prime Minister, David Cameron, Sir Paul McCartney, footballer Gary Neville and the Chairman of the Committee on Climate Change, Lord Deben. The national launch will kick off a programme of over 3,000 events designed to raise awareness of the dangers of climate change and suggest solutions to combat the problem.

Chaired by founder Kevin Steele, the launch will include the announcement of the winners of the Climate Week Awards, nominations for which have just opened. The Climate Week Awards are given for exemplary professional achievements in the following categories:

  • Best business
