From the moment they stepped into the showhome at Thorpe Meadows, the Ozas knew it was the home for them and now they’re living the dream in Countesthorpe.
Michelle and Raj each had their own property before they got married but wanted to buy somewhere together where they could raise a family.
“My other house is a 100-year-old terrace in an established village and I never thought I would buy a new-build property as I thought they were boxy and flimsy until we visited Thorpe Meadows.”

Buying a brand new Redrow home meant that Michelle and Raj, who both work in IT, could customise the property to their personal taste using the My Redrow feature of the website.
“My Redrow was really useful because we could browse the website whenever we wanted to look at the different options. We had all the fun of doing things such as choosing the finish of the kitchen, but none of the hard work fitting it. There was nothing to do other than furnish the property and put flowers on the mantelpiece.
“It’s a lovely home. I’m convinced that we will be living here in 20 years. It doesn’t feel temporary; it feels like a home for life.”
Having previously lived in an older property, Michelle is feeling the benefit of owning a brand new energy efficient home.
“It’s unbelievably warm. When people talk about energy efficiency I don’t think they appreciate what it means until they have been in a new house. It’s so snug we’re looking forward to winter.”
Michelle is so happy with her home and the customer care from Redrow that she’s written to the company’s chairman Steve Morgan on several occasions.
“The customer service we have received has been pretty much world class. The customer experience has been superb. A lot of other companies could learn a lot from Redrow.”
