Having announced the launch of its ninth annual National CDM and Student Designer Awards earlier in March, the Association for Project Safety (APS) is now calling for corporate sponsors to support the prestigious event.
Previously part the association’s annual conference, this is the first time the National CDM and Student Designer awards will be a celebration in its own right, allowing for corporate sponsors to cut through the noise of other marketing messages and demonstrate their support for inspirational good practice within the Design and Construction Health and Safety Risk Management sector.
Richard Wilks, APS President, said:
“Our awards acknowledge both current and future members of the Design and Construction Health and Safety sector, by rewarding examples of good practice, and providing people in the industry with a benchmark of success to work towards.
“Sponsoring an APS award is a fantastic way for companies and organisations to be seen and heard, with the right people in one room, at one time. Our awards attract key people from across the industry and offer great networking opportunities.”
With an impressive line-up of corporate sponsors already announced, including Construction Safety UK, Bryan & Armstrong Ltd and Butler and Young Consultants etc., further sponsorship opportunities exist for award categories including Health and Safety, Project of the Year, Principal Designer of the Year, Client of the Year, Principal Contractor of the Year, and Consultancy of the Year.
The BIM2050 Group is also kindly supporting the BIM Project – Integrating Health and Safety Design Risk Management with BIM category. However, a corporate sponsorship is yet to be taken with this category, therefore allowing companies additional opportunities to support the award.
Jody Kennedy, Chief Technology Officer at Construction Safety UK, added:
“Having previously sponsored APS’ National CDM and Student Designer Awards, I can without doubt say that they are a wonderful way to recognise the extraordinary contribution to construction risk management. It’s a delight to be able to support this fantastic celebration of those who continually strive to demonstrate the very best practice.
“It really is a great night and an opportunity to meet with colleagues and true industry professionals, and working with the APS events team throughout the year leading up to the event has been an absolute pleasure. Everyone at Construction Safety UK is looking forward to the awards evening and I’d urge anyone considering sponsoring one of the categories to make the investment – it’s well worth it.”
Sponsorship of an award category costs £2,500 + VAT and includes six tickets to the awards dinner, company branding included in the awards’ marketing collateral, links from APS awards categories to the relevant webpage of the corporate sponsor’s website, recognition of sponsorship across APS’ social media channels, and the opportunity to sit on the sponsored award’s judging panel.
The awards, which will take place on Thursday 27 October at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel in London, are truly one-of-a-kind. The National CDM and Student Designer Awards is the only industry event to exclusively recognise the vital role construction Health and Safety plays within the sector Design and Construction Health and Safety Risk Management sector, allowing corporate sponsors access to a highly targeted and specialised audience to engage with.
