£20 million Fleet Street project gets green light

The Corporation of London’s £20 million Fleet House project on New Bridge Street in London has been granted planning consent.

The 83,000 sq ft redevelopment designed by Pringle Brandon Perkins+Will (PBP+W) will provide a single office building with associated retail facilities that maximises the development potential of the site and produces a lively and active street frontage.

The project was won by PBP+W at competition for the Corporation of London. Located in close proximity to a conservation area with sensitive views of the spire of Christopher Wren’s St Bride’s Church on Fleet Street from New Bridge Street, it replaces two existing buildings, including 1950s offices and a public house.

John Drew, principal at Pringle Brandon Perkins+Will, said:

“We are really delighted to have received approval for this exciting new building in the City of London.”
