Workshop Bar & Kitchen, USA

http://workshoppalmsprings.com/

The elegant and simple Workshop Bar & Kitchen by SOMA is surprisingly earthy, considering it is almost completely constructed from concrete. All the concrete surfaces, from the long banqueting table to the ceiling high booths was designed by SOMA.

The high gloss white veneer Epoxy-Coat flooring lifts and brightens the venue that is otherwise a dimly lit cosy cave, created by the custom lighting.

The custom minimalist lighting was designed and manufactured by .PSLAB, which reflects the sleek modernist style of the restaurant. The lighting is really the focal point of this space, with the long pendant lights suspended high above the space from the natural wood beams.

The cacti and the exposed barn-like beam structure is an interesting contrast with the industrial and modern concrete finishes elsewhere.

The long central avenue of the space ends with this glowing bar area, finished with more complementing lighting designed by .PSLAB and the classic 1951 Bar Stools by Emeco.
