T-T’s Package Pumping Stations stand the test of time!

Back in 2006 T-T Pump’s planet range of package pumping stations attained BBA approval, now 12 years later the range is still BBA approved and has seen no failures during this time! The BBA approval ensures all chambers pass rigorous testing prior to dispatch, the key factors that are assessed are; strength, resistance to chemicals, water tightness and durability.

These key factors ensure that the pumping stations are fit for purpose. The chambers have adequate strength to resist damage from minor impacts during handling and hydrostatic power from wet concrete during installation. The chambers and components will be unaffected by chemicals likely to be found in the specified effluent. The chambers, when correctly installed will now allow seepage either into or from the surrounding soil. The chambers are made from durable materials and with adequate maintenance will continue to be serviceable for the design life of the drainage system.

BBA is a UKAS accredited service that test, inspect and certify construction industry products to ensure they are of the highest quality. T-T Pumps have six monthly audits from BBA for continued product control of their planet range, T-T have never failed an audit and continue to provide the highest quality package pumping station chambers.

Jon Whittingham, pumping station manager comments,

“We pride ourselves on providing excellent quality products and the news that we have been BBA approved for 12 years with no failures is one to be celebrated. It shows that our hard work and determination to supply market leading high standard products is paying off. This is something we will continue to do and we won’t let our no failure streak end here!”

The T-T Planet Range is one of T-T’s most popular products, the package pumping stations are constructed from medium-density polyethylene and come complete with pumps, valves, controls and ancillary equipment. The smooth internal walls aid the hygienic disposal of effluents, to avoid smells and septicity.
