Now the weather has turned, opportunities for outdoor woodcare tend to reduce – but a new video from Sadolin shows that such projects can still be undertaken, even as temperatures drop.
Last year, cameras recorded Sadolin’s high performance product Beautiflex® being applied in the heart of Autumn at an exposed site in the Peak District.
Sadolin Beautiflex® is a solvent opaque woodstain, which provides a beautiful, flexible finish with long term protection.
It is formulated for application in cooler temperatures, enabling wood protection projects to take place outside the typical outdoor season, extending opportunities for specifiers to arrange exterior jobs.
The short film, presented by Sadolin woodcare expert Sean Thompson, shows the project during and after completion and is available to view here.
“The qualities of Sadolin Beautiflex® enabled the application to be carried out in late Autumn, so the wood could be protected before the colder, wet and freezing conditions of winter started to take their toll.
“It has been used on the project to great effect to provide protection and a colour scheme which perfectly suits the limestone building.”
Suitable for all new, bare or previously coated exterior wood, including decking, Sadolin Beautiflex’s® superior flexibility is achieved through a formulation which features alkyd resin technology, giving the coating the assurance of up to 7 years’ protection.
There are a variety of ready mixed colours and tinted shades available – and HALS within the formulation protect the coating from UV damage and ensure the colours retain their integrity for the long term.
The introduction of Sadolin Beautiflex® last year to the range reflects the brand’s commitment to creating the very best in wood protection products, drawing on more than 200 years of innovation to offer customers quality, trusted products.
