Airtech, the mould and condensation control specialist, will be exhibiting at two Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) events during May 2018.
The first is the CIH South West Regional Housing Conference and Exhibition, 16-17 May 2018, which will be held at the Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel. This is the largest event of its kind in the region and attracts over 350 attendees from the housing industry. The second event is the CIH Repairs and Maintenance Conference 2018, 23-24 May 2018, located at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry and focuses on delivering new solutions to tackle housing maintenance. Visitors to Airtech’s stands at the CIH events will be able to find out about the company’s 3 Steps to No More Mould including seeing its latest ventilation solutions, while its expert team will be on hand to offer advice.
Social housing landlords often find condensation and mould a recurring problem, causing recurring costs. However, Airtech offers a simple three-stage solution that provides a three-year guarantee against mould returning to properties. Visitors to the CIH events will be able to find out for themselves how these three simple steps: survey; mould treatment; and ventilation; can eradicate mould and stop it returning.
Jeremy Cleeter, Sales Director at Airtech said:
“We are delighted to be attending the CIH events where visitors will be able to hear about the services we offer to combat condensation and mould and improve indoor air quality. It just takes three simple steps to eradicate mould and prevent it returning, helping ensure a healthy environment for residents. With over 30 years’ experience our expert team can offer a range of services to help social housing landlords with their housing stock,”
“Delegates will also be able to learn more about our ventilation range which provides valuable data for use in disrepair cases as well as having the opportunity to discuss individual projects with our expert team.”
At the CIH events delegates will be able to view the raft of ventilation solutions which Airtech offers. These will include Airtech’s new AIR+ PIV which gently operates in the background introducing drier air into the home, forcing out stale humid air and replacing it with fresh filtered, warmed air from outside. Positive Input Ventilation is proven to reduce both condensation and mould, as well as dangerous levels of radon in specific areas of the UK. Other solutions include environment sensing and data gathering bathroom and kitchen fans, such as the A25 SELV and the A60 Mains and SELV.
Datalogging is one of the latest ways to combat mould and condensation. It logs how lifestyle habits affect humidity and temperature and demonstrates how reducing relative humidity through adequate heating and ventilation can maintain a healthy home. Hand-in-hand with the data logging, Airtech’s specialist control platform monitors the data as it is collected and modulates the fan accordingly to react automatically and proportionally to rising humidity levels, offering quick and effective humidity control. This ensures the resident keeps the optimum environment in the home to avoid condensation forming, thus helping maintain good IAQ.
Airtech are not just another ventilation company. They are specialists in condensation and mould control solutions. A company with over 30 years’ experience Airtech uses diagnostics, analysis and treatment techniques to control condensation and mould through a combination of humidity control and ventilation.
